Gary Bailey 's Riding School-backed Honda rider Ridge Davis battled to secure third overa ll via 3-4 finish es. Travis West ea r ne d fo urt h overall via a 5-3 ta lly, De an Day edged o ut Shipley for fifth. In the 12Scc A class, Davis scored a 2-2 tally and second overall. Welsh's 4-3 score ea rned third. Erik Pfeiff r had a strong run. fini shing 3· 5 e fo r t he fou rth- p lace money. KTM's Ra nd y Newkirk earned fifth via 7-4 e ffort. In the Over 35 class, Husqvarna ride r Allen Alford won mot o one, edging out Shipley and Pfeiffer. r-low eve r; in the second mote, Shipley snagged the holeshot and never looked back. " 1 te st ed T ire Balls fo r my first t ime , and the y worked better than expe cted. They made my Dunlops roll right over those ruts and roo ts. It was like I didn't even know they [the ruts and roo ts] were there." "The course was real good, and it was a lot of fun - no dust ," Summers said.
