Twenty-four 6Scc moto man iacs were on the line . In mo te two, the excitement level was even higher, as Grey, Huss, Rayner and Mullett went four-w ide t hrough the holeshot co rne r. Grey emerged fr om t ur n two with the lead . Clingerman worked his way up to second and immediately began holding off counter-c hallenges from Rayner and Kellyas they raced through the lo ng rhyt hm section . Rayner o utcorne re d Clinge rman fo r second, only to bobble it away, allowing Clingerman, Kellyand Kayto pass, Grey o pened up a b ig e ight-second lead ove r Clinge r man. Th is had to be one of the most talented poo ls of 60cc ride rs ever assem bled in WNYMA this seaso n, and w ith competition this dee p, the races for ISth thro ugh 22nd were just as exciting, or even mo re so, as the batt le for the lead. Rayner showed his true grit by gett ing right , back on the gas and passing Kelly and then Kay H 56 ke e ping him se lf in th e r unn ing fo r t he fre e D unlop tire , Ke lly, C linger ma n a nd Kay a ll showed grea t sportsmanship, batt ling bar to bar to bar as the big crow d wen t nuts. Keep an eye o ut for Kay; he will be a to p co nte nder in the nea r future, as his huge heart mor e than makes up for his smallsize. Ra yn er ( 1-3) re ign e d in fi rs t o ve ral l.
