The first class is on the gate , so find a place to watch! App a ren t ly Ponca Ci ty didn't have all the racing this weekend! The 65cc (7-9) was one of the largest classes of the evening, an d t he racing was top-notch . KTM ride r Jacob Partridge took the overall w ith two consiste nt sec ond -place finishes. Gilberto Lopez won the second mota but placed fifth in the first outing for the se con d spot on t he podium. Paul Ne lson won the last moto, but his fifth-place finish in the first rnoro kept him to third overall. The largest class of the evening was the 80cc Beginner division. After the gate fell. the crowd was relieved when all the riders made it around the first rum. Suzuki-mounted Tarron Miller was the overall w inne r with a strong se cond mo to . Randee Ga mbl e brought his Kawasaki up from Alabama to take second overall with a consistent performance . Daniel Reeves, on his fast Kawasak had i, to win the last mota to earn the last podium position. The Youth division was the property of Robby Winiarczyk and his Fre ew he eling/ LSD-tun ed Honda CRF25 0R. Just back from a wee k at Millsaps' tra ining cam p. Richie Gibson of Gibson Racing kep t his head down in the last moto for the last spot on the podium. C layto n Hen derso n pu t o n qu ite a show t his eveni ng . Henderso n took his 450cc Honda to a solid win in the Unlimited Amateu r co nte st . Broc Hinckley was fast on the sta rts on his Suzuki, but Hen de rson wa s fast er. Bobb y Scogin was on his Ho nda, but a 250cc four-stro ke was not e nough motor on this night, though it was fast enough for the last pod ium step. The 250cc B class was also won by Henderson, in his first race after moving up from the C division. Hinckley took second overall with a good effort. T he 125 cc C ga te had 25 ride rs on t he line . but it was Ho nda ride r Robby Winiarczyk who won bot h motes. For this evening, the minibike track was rebuilt for a De nny De signs-m od ifie d 50cc race , an d t he 50 s kept everyone en tertained during intermission.
