Jimmy Wood won his second K&N Filters Open Pro main event in as many
tries when round five of Gene Romero's
West Coast Flat Track Series visited the
famed Silver Dollar Speedway.
The Saddlemen Vintage main and the
Top Gun 450cc main also had repeat winners . with KLH Racing!A&A Racing!
Motion Pro/RAB Racing's Rick Hocking
and Hlebo Brothers Suspension/Spears
Ent./Engines Only's Bradley Spencer taking those respective wins.

The Tuff Plates Open Pro Fast Time
Plate went to series regular John Hlebo,
while Brad Spencer was quickest in the
Vintage class. Hocking quickened the
pace with the Vintage Dash For Cash win,
and Kenny Carlotta found a way around
Hlebo for the Open Dash victory.
When the Ope n Pro A main event
green light flashed. polesitter Carlotta led
the charge. Wood tried the outs ide of the
groove and pulled up alongside down the
back straight. Side by side with Carlotta
through turn three, Wood drove right
around the outs ide and led them across
the stripe for the first time, followed by
Carlotta. Ryan Anderson. Beau Brown
and Sam Halbert . Tim Hall/BBRP Racing!
Circle F Racing-backed Brown and
Halbert both worked successfully on
Anderson , and both got by. An amazing
three-rider battle ensued as Carlotta.
Brown and Sam passed back and forth.
This allowed Wood to break away. On lap
