O nly the to p seve n finishers in eac h class wou ld be guaranteed a starting position at the Lo retta Lynn's Natio nal. Despite the large nu m ber of r id e r s a n d t he hig h. stakes competitio n, the ambula nce never moved . All th ree of Vickery 's mo te w ins in the 85cc ( 14- 15) division were hard- earned . In the final two motes, the Valdosta Powersports-backed Vickery ha d to fight past race lea der Cod y Mille r, who held on fo r the silver, over Jod y Cook and Max Rash. Miller a nd Vickery sq ua red off again in Supe rmini racing, placing second and third , re s pe cti ve ly, b e h ind class w inner D e r e k Roge rs. PJ. Larsen and John son seemed to be t he t o p tw o con ten ders in this class, but , having al ready qualified in the class at a pre vio us Re gion al , t he se t wo race le ad ers pulled off th e track prior to the check ered nag to give other riders a be tt e r chance at o ne of the to p seven qua lifying slots . Et han Gillim wa s equall y dom inant in t he 50cc Chain division, over Jaco b Mor ris and 50cc Shaft winne r Luke Baird. Ethan too k the lead in the 65cc d ivisio n and ne ver lo o ke d back en ro ute to the class w in, ove r Fran kie Lee , Lew is and Evan Fields. Tracy Gibbs too k the win in the Trail Rider class, over Vo well and Blake Tabo r, but Gibbs couldn't quite catch Patrick Ferre ll's Yamaha in the 2S0cc Amateur class. Pro mo ter Steve Nace had the race track in pe rfect form and used the hay-bale line to score com e-from-behind wins in t he '7 0s Singles and Senior classes. RE T SULS 50 CH AI N: I. In the 8Scc Stoc k ( 12- 13) d ivisio n, Capitol Cycle's Johnso n notched an easy first -mot o win and then came from be hind to finish first in the final two rou nds. Taylor Futrell an d Steven Mages claimed the rem aining pod ium positions, edging out Ch ase Co uture . During the first tw o 125cc Stoc k ( 12- 15) mo to s, Gaine sv ille Mot orspor ts ' Be njamin Hamilton banged bars with CCC-backed James Ragsda le and SYD's Austo n Albe rs. Go ing into the final moto, Hamilton had 2-1 finishes unde r his be lt . In th e final, Ha m ilto n ca me fro m behi nd to finish in se co nd spot, clinching the ove rall, ahea d of Ragsdale's 1-3-5 tally. Flo rida's Kyle Key lon took t he bronze. Albe rs had to sett le for sixth w ith his lo psided 17-2· 1 sco re. Hamilto n, Ragsd ale and Ke ylon also rode we ll in the 12Scc Modified d ivis ion, but each of the m had one "bad" moto score , w hich ke pt t he m ou t o f th e to p seve n .
