Doug put his head down and sta rted charging , and by lap five he was in the lead and runni ng away from the local fast guys. Doug won by I I sec o nds at the finish. In the Ope n Exp e rt final, Do ug put on a supermoto clinic: He lap ped up to the sixthplaced rider in the field and was on the gas and backing it into almost eve ry tu rn o n the trac k.
