rest of the mota. Broughton cru ised to the win, with Kann second . Doyle was th ird, Oelleln was fourth, and johnso n was fifth, w ith Schantzen finishing sixth. Moto two was a much d ifferent st o ry. Schantzen grabbed the ho les hot , with Doyle, Kann and Broughton chasing. A lot of crash ing took place among the top first-moto finishers : Broughton we nt down in a downhill section o n lap two , and Kannand Doyle we nt down on lap thr ee . Kann did not finish the moto. Broughton finished back in 10th, and Doyle was 12th after the crash es. With the top co nte nde rs o ut , Schantzen easily took the mot o win and, oddly e no ugh, sco re the o ve rall w it h a 6- 1 ta lly. Second in the mot o went to Oellein. johnson was th ird, Mike Evenson w as fourth o n a Northstar Powersports/GPS RacingYZ2S0 after tallying a DN F in mo to one . Mike Luoma rounded out the top frve. On Monday, John Dehn grabbed the firstmoto holeshot on his Heinen's/Shift/Pro Circuit YZ450F, with Alex Bumgardner second in turn one on a Trimbles CRF4S0. On lap one , De hn retained the lead. while Schantzen moved past Bumgardner into second . Schantzen fell over in a comer ea rly in the race but re tained seco nd place to the finish. as Dehn too k the win with a l n-se ccnd lead . Bill Mede k was third , w it h Luoma fourth and Jason Doyle fifth. In moto tw o, veteran A-class racer Luoma nailed a rare holeshot, with Schantz en seco nd and Bumgard ne r third. Luoma led th e pack around the track for one lap, but Schantzen got by on lap two, Dehn mo ved into th ird , and the n into second on lap three . Schantzen and Dehn would trad e the lead eve ry tr ip through the sand-wash whoo p section, with Schannen co m ing o ut in th e le ad o n th e fin al lap. Schantze n too k the mote and overall win . Dehn had to settle for second . Luoma claimed t hird in t he moto , with johnson fo urt h and Bumgardn er fifth. Schannen also capt ured the overall 12Scc A Victoryon Monday.
