AMA Progressive Insurance U.S. Flat Track Championships problems dropped Beaulac to a seventhplace finish. "The race was going well until we broke, " Beaulac said. "The disk broke, and I had no brake . It's hard to go like that." Beaulac's next problem would be Memphis Shades/Part Unlimited's J.R. Schnabel, who quietly worked his way up to a fifth-place finish. "I ended up sixth or seventh off the line, not too bad," Schnabel said.
