Happenings In Motorcycling Sport Bike Night, Sacramento Style On Wednesday, April 28, Sport Bike Night hosted an event at the Hard Rock Cafe in downtown Sacramento, California. The event was a huge success, with standing room only for special guests Team Yoshimura Suzuki's Aaron Yates, Valvoline EMGO Suzuki's Steve Rapp and Chris Peris, and injured AMA Supersport rookie Shaun Summers. Earlier in the afternoon, racers spent time visiting ill and injured children at the University of California Medical Center Children's Hospital in Sacramento. The visit was arranged by Mike Summers of Sport Bike Night. The road racing stars signed posters and handed out hats and shirts donated by A1pinestars, Galfer Brakes, GPR Stabilizers and Yoshimura Suzuki. Yates, himself a father of two young children , was especially moved by the visit. "This makes you appreciate what you have when your kids are healthy," Yates said.
