OU might say that the Montclair Yamaha/Zip-Ty Racing team had a pretty good day at the Co lorado round of the Rocky Mountain ATV -MC/World Off-Road Championship Series in Ignacio. After a dusty two-hour run , series points lead Nathan Woods posted his third win of the year, finish ing ahead of his Yamaha teammates Ty Davis and Russ Pearson. Davis was the early leader, but Woods got around him before the first lap was over, and from there, the YZ450F pilot took control and led the blue wave home to the finish. Davis made things interest ing with a late- race charge that got him fairly close to his leading teammate, but Woods had more than enough to take the win. It looked as though the race would be blessed by good weather and racing conditions, as a storm blew through the area on Friday, but very litt le moisture was actually dropped on the Avalanche O HV Ranch, where the race was staged . While other areas near by got up to 10 inches of rain, Ignacio was left high and dry, making for another dusty race . "The dust is going to ruin the race ," said Davis before the start of the Pro main event. Y
