Appare ntly, the new tra ck is a winner, big-time! Th e largest class o f the eve ning w as th e 65cc (7-9) class. Wh en the gate dr o pped , 18 ride rs heade d for the first tum . Cod y Miller, on his fast Kawasaki, was not to be beaten, winning both mo tos. KTM pilot Timot hy Thorn kept his head down to take seco nd ove rall. Kawasaki joc key Garrell SUll n stayed steady for the last o pod ium spot . T he Pre t e en 60 -8 0cc e ven t was t he property of Yamaha jockey jake Wilson , w ho scored tw o runaway wins. Taylor Smith used his RH5 Racing Honda to be the seco nd podi um occupant. Steady Y amaha jockey james johnson was th ird. Th e 80cc Beg inne r cla ss was w o n b y Yamaha rider James Johnson, with a stead y ride . Suzuki jockey Zach Cor bin won the last mota to salvage second ove rall. Grayson Loveless put his Honda in a solid th ird overall. It's already a p pa re nt fr om t he Beginn e rs t hat th e age 40th Anniversary classes are going to fill up. A large gate of 125cc C entrants made the race for the first turn inte resting. Honda Icurstroke rider Co dy Lee wo n the overall. Ch ris Castle , on his Freewheeling Honda, won the last mota to secu re second ove rall. Kawa saki pilot Dylan Ri05 wrap ped up third overall with a ste ady ride . Th e 125cc B con te st was the property of young Ch ris McCor kel. Th e Honda ride r ran away and hid in both motos . Tyle r Horne, on his lactory KTM, finished second overall. Mall Wasson, another KTM rider, too k third overall with no worries. The promo ter wa nted more A riders, so he didn't charge any Sign-up fee for the Expe rt s. Six in the 1255 and seven in the 250s gave the crowd q uite a show. Suzuk i jock ey Michael Sise mor e eas ily wo n bot h classes going away. Honda rider Kris Swaney took second ove rall in both classes w ith some fast riding. KTM rider D.C. Thomas on was on the last pod ium step in each event. The racing was good , and the rest of the ride rs made the top three work hard for their spots on the podium. Free entry works, so it will probably co ntinue for the A riders . T he O ve r 30 d ivisio n shou ld have bee n called the "Retired Pro" class. A blast from the pas t Jaso n Edwa rds - made t he gate o n a bo rr ow ed Ho nd a and won bo th motes, no pro blem. Edwards was the whoop maste r for t he overall. Suzuki joc key Joel Sewell' s speed and good riding ke pt him in se con d ov erall. Honda man Gene Wilson was up to the task for a good third-ove rall performa nce . A large crowd and great r iding was th e order of the night. and the prog ram we nt off without a hitch.
