In mo to tw o. Runkles again got the holeshot,
followed by Kinsley and Balko vic. Th is t ime ,
Balkovic made his move early. and it seemed he
wo uld lead t his on e to the e nd . Young Kinsley
had other plans. though, and he mou nte d a
charge and caught Balkovic, and t he race was
on ! Th e two went at it tire to tire, and at the
end of this one, it was Kinsley co ming out on
top. He mad e the pass o n th e second lap and
rod e to a six-se con d lead at the checkers and
too k the overall w in.
In the Wome n's division. the mota s were
split, wit h Union Bridge, Maryland's Ana Ward
going 1-2 o n the day and Yamaha jockey Je ssica
Childs going 2- 1 and taking the o verall.
