.--- some things abou t the Nes s, such as t he stretched and scalloped fuel tank , Fren ched rear taillight, custo m Bla ck Cherry Fade paint, the Ness-I ogo'd EFI cover and those awesome billet wheels to scream "Loo k at me ." That's not to say that t he Deu ce isn't a looke r. Quite the contrary, the Deuce's appearance is true to Harley form : It is delightful in a way that is not overstated , and a perfect canvas o n which its cust omers can create their own vision of the perfect custom. The Glacier Wh ite Pearl hue of our test unit was flaw less, and one needs only to look at the subtly stretched fuel cell, the beautifully contoured seat and the long, chromed Coke bottle fork sliders to see that the Deuce offers a great starting point for would-be customizers. O n the othe r hand, the Ness is already kind of done, and it is done in a way t hat will probably appeal to a lot of riders.
