Russ Pearson Reigns in Idaho National H&H t was a battle all the way to the bitter end in ro und two of the AMA FMF Racing National Hare & Hound Series on March 21 in Murphy, Idaho. And when all was said and done, it was defending champ Russell I Pearson coming away with the overall victo- ry. Russell, aboard the Montclair Yamahabacked YZ4S0F, worked his way to the front off the start and ended up leading Kawasaki Team Green KX500-m ounted riders Brian Brow n and David Pearson across the finish line. Destry Abbott, the winner of round one in California, made it three KX500s in the top four. Abbott was the early leader before losing ground because of a broken footpeg .
