the Dash For Cash at the SJO Production Supercross presented
by Yamaha, Red Bulland M&MCycle.
In 12Scc Pro act ion, Nick Vaughn and Danny Becket pulled
the pack around turn one, but a miscue in the whoops too k
Vaughn off his line and Becket 011 the track and handed the lead
to jo hn Penro d. Matt Maximoff and Wood ring were pushing
hard to close the gap on Penrod , with both riders making the
move in the tight left -hande r afte r th e w hoo ps on lap t hree .
Maximoll had the advantage, but Woo dring had the whoops
dialed in, and on lap lour he also had the lead. At the hallway
po int, Woodring began to open up a slight lead and then used
the lappers to his advantage to gain some breathing room over
WW"W.superstarpro-ject .com/Honda East-bac ked MaximofT and
Penrod. Vaughn was up to fourth after getting hit early, and
jason McDonald rounded out the top five, and that run ning
orde r he ld until the checkered nag new.
In t he 2S0cc Pro main. Maximo ll had his RM250 on t he
inside pole and out front as the pack round ed tu rn one. but he
also had Woodring and McDona ld in tow. Woodr ing wa tche d
Maximoff's line for two laps and then set him up with a clean
block -pass before the rhythm section to take over the lead .
Maximoff pushed hard to close in and make a run at Woodring,
but it was Woodring's night, and he wasn't to be denied : Within
two la ps, Woodr ing had put more t ha n five seco nds on
Maximoff, who had put a good seven seco nds on McDona ld,
who had his Tech-Car e Suspe nsion-backed YZ4S0 in third . As
the laps dwindled down , it was clear that Wood ring wo uld not
be stopped , and he too k the checkered nag on the back whee l.
Maximo ff was runner-up o nce again, with McDo nald, M&M
Cycle/Lowe Racing Suspension-backed rider Kyle McLeod and
justin Mcl osky making up the remainder of the top five.
In the Mini division, Cod ie Sytsma was th e runaway winner
in both the 65cc and 8Scc (7-1 I) Advanced classes aboard his
Lake Cycie/MotoplexfTreads & Sleds/MCR Suspe n-sion/Mom &
Dad-backed KTMs. In the 65cc class, Bylsma and Cody Meyers
we nt at it for six laps, never more than a co uple of bikelengths
apart . while Taylor Brook house had a grea t race to lock up the
last spot in th e top th ree . Dillon Everitt got a great start but
couldn't hold 011 Bylsma in the 85cc class. O n lap three, Bylsma
made his move in the whoops, putting himse lf out front on the
way to his second main-event win of the night. Everitt held on
to second. Bradley Gou ld. Gar rett Coilbert and Broo khouse
