The first 65cc Open moto turned into a
race -long battle over the top spot between
Jason Anderson and Paluzzi, with Anderson
prevailing by just a few feet at the finish .
Jeremy McCool and Aaron Siminoe traded
third place back and forth , with Siminoe getting
the upper hand o n the last lap.
Paluzzigot the jump of t he field right o ut of

passed him on the fifth lap, and then he set o ut
to catch Bogard but by then it w as too late Bogard had chec ked out for the win. At the fiag,
it was Bogard, Stone and Horton.
" I just want to thank all the people who

"Most of all. I want to thank my parents, and

It was all Hall at the drop of the gate in the
opening Supermini contest. Josh Merring w as
challenging by the end of lap two, but Hall
fended him off and had pulled away by a few
seconds by the finish . Phil Thortensen and
Baker traded plastic over third for much of the
moto, with Thortensen getting the job done in
the end .
The second mota was all Thortensen's, as
he absconded with the holeshot and went the

Thortensen's back fender on the final circuit.
which was good enough for the overall honors.
Baker (4-3) was third, over EliTomac (5-5) and
Dylan McKee (7-6).
The Kawasaki Team GreenlThousand
Oaks/Spy/Renthal·backed Hall returned to
sweep both 85cc ( 12- 13) races. Baker was
runner-up both times out, over jelderda (4-3),
McKee (5.5) and Canada (3-10).
Curtis Malins was qu ickest out of the gate
in both Schoolboy motos, but by the end of lap
one in each race, it was Anthony Charette out
front and pulling away. Ivan Schultz finished
second in the first mota and appeared to be
set to do it again in mota two until a last-lap fall
d ropped him out of contention . Mal ins
benefited from Schultz's miscue, as he went
