Drew Askew flew straight · more or less· to the
12Scc and 2S0cc Pro wins at the Tallassee round
of the Alabama State Championship Fall Series.
Moto two saw the same scenario: Askew took off. again leaving
Brush and Myers to finish seco nd and th ird. The 250cc class was a
carbon copy of the 1255, as Askew ran away again, besti ng Brush
and Myers.
Th e Mini division fea tured the largest classes and some of the
be st racing. In the 8Scc (7- 11) contest, Nabama's Kendall Mason
and Hunter Mims stole the show. Mims grabbed the lead 0 (( the
start in both motes. hut Mason came up from so-so starts to take
both moto wi ns. Tenness ee's Alex Ray was third both times out as
well.
In the 85cc Open class , Kendall's brother Blane Mason was
unbeatable , top ping bot h races . Kendall we nt 5-2 to take runner-
-_ .......
up, and Florida's D esty n Patera rounded out the pod ium .
Patera came back to top the 8Scc (12- 13) class in style, via a

Mims avenged his ear lier defeat by to pp ing both mote s of the
