T wo of the area 's Junior Cycl e heavy hitters duk ed it out. with Nevada's Zachary Fusse ll coming out on top of Uta h' s Levii Hall . Hall led Fussell , Shai -An thony Gin den and the rest of the pack when th e gat e dropped for mota one. Fussell press ured Hall relentlessly , fina lly outjumping him over th e bac k tabletop to take th e lead . Ginden , in th ird , was hold ing off B ra nd on L eith and D u st y Humph r ies . Fu ssell an d Hall sep ara ted themse lve s from th e field, and Fussell took race one hand il y , ove r Hall . Gi nden plac ed th ird, an d Hump hries and Shane Lant fo llowed him across the line. Fu ssell go t th e ju m p whe n race two fired up . Hall and Hum phries were rig ht beh in d him . A n aggressive pass attem pt on th e big hill sweeper by Theobal d saw Scott blow ing t hro ugh th e berm, and he and hi s bike c ertwheele d down the side of th e hill .
