KTM rid er Pet e Sanna n w as also among a sma ll ci rcl e of th e elite m ul t ip le-cl ass winners on the week end . Sannan scored wins in the 12 5c c and Befor e Th e Hill Int erm ediat e classes on both da y s. Sannan and Yamah a rid er Na th an Wh itlow spent m uc h of t he we ek end in bar -to -bar w ar far e, but, as been the case for m uch of the season, the outcome was in San na n 's fa vor. Honda -mounte d Erik Meusling was on e of th e few to cha lle n ge Sannan. Meusling, wh o won th e 12 5cc, 250cc and Before Th e Hill Junior classes on Saturday , beat Sannan to the finish in the seco nd Before Th e Hill m oto on Sunday . A lth ou gh Sann an went do wn in a turn -on e pil eu p , th e rider from Alban y fo rg ed fo rw ar d t hrou gh th e field of riders and nearly ca ught the im p ressive Meus ling by moto ' s end. Ken tner trailed the duo in both motos for th e 25 0cc I nte r me d iate - cl as s w in , a hea d o f Wh itlow in moto one and Eric Hotze in the second co ntest. Sannan and M eu sli n g sc o re d m o t o w i n s in t he co m p eti ti ve class ; Sannan got the best of th e field of rid ers in m oto one, but h is afo rem ention ed fa ll at the st art of moto two allowed Meu sling to ne t an im p ressiv e win .
