Pec sok nailed the holeshot on hi s Honda , but Yamaha ride r Norberto Debernardi qui ckly to ok ove r t he lead . Shane Do ugh t y put his Kawa saki into t he lead positi o n by the end of lap on e and held off har d- cha rg inq Yamaha rider Vernon McK iddi e to ta ke the first -mota win .
