So while no clear answer ex ists to who was
m o st i m p ressive o n th e tra c k o n thi s day ,
ev e ry o ne wh o fa red w ell ca n at l east fee l
proud in lig ht of the sheer number of racers
who gath ered at Fern ley . For exa m ple. there
were th ree divisions of 60 cc Beginners (which
were won resp ectivel y by J osh Davi s, Kori e
Haas an d Will ie Welch ), and enough Pee-Wee
cl as ses t o p ac k th e sc hed u le at th eir new
co urse , adj acent to the m ain track . With th at
ty pe of density at th e tra c k , even those at the
to p of th eir cl asses o n thi s day can su re ly
expec t new challengers in the near future.

stalking Ch ristiansen . jus t loo k ing for the right

until the last lap and was looking to jump by
Christ ia nsen in the rh yt hm sect io n, b ut j ust
when it look ed li k e Daven po rt had eno ug h
room to get by , Christia nsen quickly shut th e

bill . Ku bitsch ek used hi s size and natural abili ty to dominate the 125cc Interm ediate cl ass,
gett ing the hol eshot in both m otos and rid ing
to convincing wins by m ore th an 15 seco nds.

third , but he had to work his way through the
