" Gett ing th e holeshot was good , but I wa s nervous in front, " Ba uman exp lained after the even t. " I knew the heat was coming ." Leivan was abl e to m ove into seco nd and tried to chase down N esbitt but cou ld get only so close in the d ust. For three laps, Nesbitt heid th e lead , w ith Leivan a ha ndful of sec ond s down , At th e st art of lap four, Nesb itt th ou ght he had eno ugh of a lead that he co uld afford to sto p for gas. Just as he roile d back o n th e th rott le , N esb itt heard th e big four stro ke co m ing, and Leivan ju st barel y m oved int o the lead. "I had been eating dust for over an hour, " Leivan reco unted , "and when I saw him [Nes bitt] sto p , I k new th at was my chance.
