how quickly Greenwood can get away, tried to pass him going into turn three, only to have the door shut on him. Forced to check up, Niksa's drive out of the corner was ruined, and Doucette took advantage of this, pulling by as the pack went up the hill. Greenwood managed to get by Silva in the back section to put himself in second. True to form, Greenwood put in a 1: 12.5 time on lap two to take the lead. He was followed by Madden, with Silva showing him a wheei all around the course. He finally made one stick to take the second spot. While Greenwood and Silva pulled away. Niksa, who had falien back to fifth, decided to make a nun for it. He passed Doucette at the halfway flag, and going into and through turn three on lap five he managed to get by Madden. They ran as one unit through to the bowl and all the way onto the straight, where Niksa finally started to make ground. The battle for the fourth and fifth spots was to be decided by lappers on the last lap, when Doucette was slowed up coming through turn 10, allowing Madden to lengthen his lead and a hardcharging Bob Blanchette to sneak by. This set the final order at Greenwood, Silva, Niksa, Madden and Blanchette. Points leader Doucette wasted no time getting to the front around the outside of turn one at the start of the Lightweight Superbike race. Ted Temple ran out of room trying to go around the outside of Bob Poetzsch and went off the track at the exit of tum three. This put David White in third, followed by Vahan Buchakjian and Brian Obara. While White managed to get around Poetzsch, Buchakjian and Obara came together in turn three, putting them both on the ground and Dougias Scheer in fourth. While Doucette ran away from the field, Temple recovered from his offtrack excursion in turn three to catch White by lap seven. White had run wide in turn three on lap four, thus handing second place back to Poetzsch. Tempie made an attempt at White around the outside of tum nine, only to run wide again. White put his head down and held on to the third spot. The finishing order was Doucette, Poetzsch, White. Temple and Scheer. Results AM t..JW S/SPT: I. Dallas Fields (Soz); 2.
