Rayburn nailed the start on the combined IT feature of the Open class and the Vet Over 30 riders. Rayburn and Aaron Ladd ran wheel to wheel. Promoter Steve Nace had a new twist on the track: two lanes on the infield. Rayburn chose the short route over the jump, while Ladd took the longer outside route. On the last lap, Ladd's line paid off, as he got a wheel up and made the pass and held on to win the Open class. Rayburn was a bikelength back but on top of the Vet division. Ladd went to the front of the Open Pro-Am short track off the green and rode a strong line at the top of the groove. Jason Goodwin moved into second - the only rider trying the cushion. Goodwin's persistence paid off, as he found the needed drive to make the last-lap pass and card the win, over Ladd. Kyle Kelly won a race-long bout for third over John Faulkner, Jon Goodwin and Trevor Augenstein. Ladd returned one more time to take the Open-Pro win, in flag-to-flag fashion. John Faulkner held off Dean Faulkner, Jon Goodwin and Kelly for the runner-up spot. John Faulkner was once again runner-up in the Vet class, as Bill Gruwell took the lead down the back straight and rode to an uncontested win. Dean finished third, over Yopp, Steve Atwell and Clark. John Faulkner's turn to shine was in the '70s Singles class. He passed early ieader Terry Goodwin to earn the win. Terry rode solid to hold off Dean, Nathan Curnel and Bill Goodwin for second. Jonathan Heiden rode extremely well to take convincing wins in the 200cc Pro-Am and 85cc short tracks. Mike Heiden never bobbled in the B5cc ranks, finishing second, over a tight pack consisting of Nikki Spore, Jesse Taber and Jake Lewis. Jonathan went to the front of the B5cc IT also. bringing Lewis with him as they distanced themselves from the field. Lewis looked for a mistake, but it didn't happen, as Jonathan took a narrow victory. Spore held on to third, over Mike and Taber. Lewis came back to trounce the 65cc and SOcc Chain classes, taking wins in both the short track and IT. Nick McFadden doubled up in the 50cc Shaft class, while April Ladd, Dakota Simmons, Erhardt Heisner, Brian Penn, Andy Goodwin and Steve Atwell also recorded class wins for the night. Loudon regular John Madden pushed his way to the front through the first two turns on lap one to nail down the lead.
