Takahisa Fujinami (Hon) and Doug
Lampkin (Mon) split victories in the
French round of the World Individual Trials Championship in Breal Sous Monfort,
July 19-20. Fujinami beat Lampkin and
Adam Raga (G-G) on Saturday but
gave way to Lampkin on Sunday. Raga
ended up second on Sunday with FUjinami third. After eight rounds of the series.
Lampkin leads Fujinami in the championship. 276-266.
Mike Metzger (Hon) and Jeff Ward
(Hon) were the big winners at round four
of the Superbikers2/Primedia/MotoMasterUSA U.S. Supermotard National
.Championship Series. held in the shadow of the ocean liner Queen Mary in
Long Beach. California. on July 19. Metzger won the 14-minutes-plus-two-lap
Open Extreme final. with Steve Drew
