American Cancer Society Relay For Life Fundraiser Race District 6 Points Race Hurricane Hills Sports Center Szymansky passed Cheney for the lead just after the start of the last lap on the huge elevator obstacle, but unfortunately the pass was made under multiple yellow caution flags, which Szymanski apparently didn't see before it was too late. The rest of the top five did see the yellow cautions and did not do the jump. Szymanski moved up into the unofficial lead, but the track referee eventually docked Szymansky a lap for the infraction. Cheney was given the secondmoto win. Rounding out the top five were Rutan, Sadowski, Stephens and Raabe. Cheney topped the 125cc Novice podium with a perfect 1- 1 score. Rutan earned the second tier of the podium with a 3-2 tally, and Stephens rounded out the podium with a 5-4 effort. eN STORY AND PHOTOS BY JIM P.
