............. ... - Motocross Dragoon Motocross Park Sunflower Series Round 2 Lyndon, KS April 27 By Dawn Sitz so (4-6) throughout both motos, and he was even able to steal the lead on two occasions, but Herrmann countered back when he needed it most Frisbie got his revenge in the 125cc (16-25) event. Hernnann won the first moto, with Frisbie again glued to his rear fender. In the following moto, Herrmann made the mistake Frisbie was looking for, and once around Herrmann, Frisbie was able to distance himself from the pack and take the win. Dakota Gamer was another standout rider, as he dominated the 85cc classes. Garner swept aside the competition in the 85cc Intermediate (7 - 16), 85cc (7 -11) and Supermini classes. Garner's closest competition came from Brendan Foley, who was able to take repeat second-place finishes in the Intermediate class. In the 85cc (7-1 J ) class, Gamer first outran Kevin Weisbruch and then set a pace Daniel Overton couldn't match in round two. Michael Hernandez was kept busy in the Supermini class holding off Dustin Ward, and Hernandez couldn't match the pace set by Gamer, who was running ahead of him. In the second Supermini event, Ward got around Hernandez and followed Gamer to the checkers, leaving Hernandez to settle for third overall. Jake Gagne had a good day at the races. Gagne took repeat wins in the 65cc (9-11) and 65cc Open classes. Gagne held off Weisbruch in moto one and then Everett Holcomb in the following age-class contest. However, when the day was done, it was Eric Yorba who took second overall, with his 3-4 results. Holcomb went 8-2 for third overall, and Weisbruch was fourth with his 2-9 showings. Gagne also had fast company in the 65cc Open class. Gagne first beat Tyler McGregor to the checkers and then Garret Jackson in moto two. Jackson managed second overall after placing fifth in moto one. Casey Harries was third overall with his 4-3 efforts. Eric Yorba also rode in the 50cc (7-8) Stock class and took repeat wins, over Starr Savage. Yorba also rode to fifth place overall in the Super Pee Wee class. CN NeJ!
