Jesus was leading the four-lap event while Holland was working his way up from the back when Holland, who was just getting within striking distance of De Jesus, slid out with only a lap and a half to go. De Jesus, who had the track dialed, appeared to have the win in hand. The crowd watched expectantly as HoIland tried to kick the big 450 back to life. After a few kicks, Holland was back under way. Holland was now on a mission - a mission to win. Holland had the crowd on its feet as he chipped away at De Jesus' huge lead. When the white flag came out, the race could still have gone to either rider. With only about a quarter of a lap remaining, Holland was all over De Jesus' rear fender. The crowd was roaring as Holland was looking for a spot to squeeze by. Only a couple of turns before the finish, Holland cut to the inside of De Jesus and took the win, to the crowd's delight. While exiting the track, Holland slapped hands with De Jesus to say "good ride." It's all about having fun at the Mutant Motocross races. Club Moto Livermore.
