WERA National Endurance Series Round 1 : Jennings GP WIth the help of Sam Fleming, Anny of Darkness (99) finished second overall (behind Vesrah Suzuki) and first In the Middleweight Superblke class at the WERA National Endurance Series opener. in first and second. Team Xtreme Pennzoi! II, on their 750cc Suzuki, moved to third, and led in the Heavyweight Superstock class. Ricochet Racing took the lead in the Middleweight Superstock class. Tight Squeeze II moved to 10th overall and took the lead in the Lightweight Superbike class. Three of last year's championship teams returned to defend their titles. Last year's Lightweight Superbike Championship team, Team Info Tech, showed up with a stable of 2003 Yamaha R6s. After the Superstock bikes took their first pit stop for fuel, the order changed on the track. Vesrah Suzuki and Army of Darkness continued on T Team Xtreme Pennzoil (22) charges into the lead In the Heavyweight Superstock class. Team Xtreme Pennzoi! II continued on in third. Northern Getaway moved to fourth, and Team Xtreme Pennzoi! was fifth. In the hotly contested Middleweight Superstock class, Team Info Tech/Valter Moto took the lead, with Ricochet Racing on the same lap. The team owner of Info Tech, Jurgen Wimbauer, stated that after winning the championship in the Lightweight Superbike class last year, they wanted to move up and be able to run in the front of the overall race.
