National Arenacross Series Round 10: Toronto Skydorme By ALLISON KENNEDY PHOTOS BY RAY GUNDY TORONTO, ONTARIO, CANADA, FEB. 1-2 rc ive-time National Arenacross l.J champ Buddy Antunez earned his long-awaited first win of the season at the Toronto round, the 10th of the series. Antunez rode strong all day Sunday, winning both his heat races and clinching third place in the 125cc main. Then he put it all together in the final 250cc event of the day. The Suzuki rider and arenacross legend was all smiles as he joined teammate Evan Laughridge on the podium. "It took us seven or eight weeks to finally do it, and it feels like the first one," said Antunez of his first win of the 2002-'03 season. "I went 107 wins in my career in arenacross, but you come in a little injured in the season, and when you don't get a win, each weekend keeps getting longer and longer. Each weekend, you're asking yourself, 'What's going on?' Honda's Justin Brayton grabbed the holeshot in Sunday's 250cc main, holding off Antunez, who was in second for a few laps. Antunez stole the lead and pulled away while Tommy Hofmaster moved in on Brayton.
