FasTrac MX Park him to second overall on the day. Gunnar Strum put in an impressive ride aboard his Vamaha VZ85 and turned in 2-4 scores for third overall against the bigger bikes. John Minert (4-3) came in fourth, and Justin Elswood (5-5) filled out the top five. Dirt Bike's Pete Murray dominated both Link Connects in Cairo By motos of Over 40 Masters action to earn the overall class win on the day. Paul Needles chased him across the line each time out, and his 2-2 rides were good for second overall. Yamaha rider Dan Austin turned in 3-4 rides for third. Fred Nichols took his CR250 to a fourth-place finish with a 5-3 showing on the scoreboard, and Light Speed's Willie Amaradio was filth on the day with a 4-5 effort. The Vet Intermediate class was hotly contested, and when the dust settled, it was Joe Melton who prevailed in both motes to earn the overall class win on the day. Steve Sequeira rolled in second each time out for second overall, while Steve Butler claimed third with 4-3 scores. Gary Renko (6-3) pushed his Suzuki RM to fourth overall, and C.T. Falk's 5-5 finishes were good for fifth overall. Bill Maxim and George Kohler battled it out all day for the top slot in the always-competitive Over 50 Masters division, but in the end it was Maxim who took both moto wins for the overall class victory. Kohler (2-2) was second best, while Ray Pisarski (4-3) was third. Bengt Johansson (3-4) took fourth on the day, and T.V. Holmes rode his KTM thumper to filth overall with a 7-5 showing.
