Blanton took top overall honors for the
Amateur class.
Former car racer Rob Myerly switched to
racing bikes in the desert at the end of last
year. He finished second overall Novice and
first in the Senior (Over 40) Open class on his
Honda CRF450R. despite a bad start.
"I loved this course," said Myerly. "Great
mixture of terrain!"
