seconds slower than Weisenfels had just
tumed in. Chapman was close behind Bumett,
holding his third·place position, while Carr had
dropped back into fourth place.
However, Carr was not about to settle for
fourth place. On lap four, he took charge and
turned in a lap time just two seconds slower
than Weisenfels'. Staying focused and in control, Carr was on top of his game. Bumett held
his third·place position to the end, and Chopman settled into fourth place.
When the checkered flag came out, the
victory went to 16-year-old Weisenfels on his
KTM 200 EXC. followed by Carr ofler his fan·
tastic ride. The third-place honors went to
Bumett. and even though Chapman had a flat
on his front tire, he was still able to finish
fourth after his pit stop to change his tire.
