same second. Late in the race, Farrell found a
way past Harris. but Brown held steady until
the checkered flag came out for the mote win.
Farrell came in second, and Harris was third.
Wolfe and Davidow filled out the top five.
In the second mota. Joe Sutter ripped a
nice holeshot aboard his Honda CRF450R.
This time. Farrell gated better and tucked up
into second, with Harris in third, just in front of
Matt Burroughs and Wolfe. For three laps.
Sutter held steady with the lead as he fended
off numerous passing attempts by Farrell.
Finally. Farrell found a way past and took over
the point. Harris was also moving up, as he
took over the second-place slot on the next
lap. With open track in front of him. Farrell
began to open up a lead that eventually saw
him ] 0 seconds out front when the moto came
to an end. Harris rolled in second, while Brown
made a charge after a poor start for third
place. Sutter came in fourth. with Burroughs
filling out the top five. On the day. the overall
win went to FlJIrrell by virtue of his 2·1 score.
Brown (1-3) was the runner-up. and Harris
(3-2) finished up in third. Wolfe (4-6) came in
fourth. and Sutter (8-4) was fifth.
'Doctor" Doug Dubach showed up this
week and dominated the Vet Pro class with
two convincing moto wins for the over·
all honors. Willy Musgrave (2-2) put in
two solid motos for second overall, while
Suzuki RM250-mounted Rich Truchinski (3-3)
was third.
