The Baja Designs auxiliary oil tank cures the lack of oil capacity in the
CRF450R, according to Baja, and addresses two solutions to the prohlem.
The tank acts as a recovery module for any oil that is blown out of the
valve-cover vent hose, and then
reroutes it into a baffle within the oil
tank. This happens nearly every time
the hike is at high rpm, according to
Baja. The tank also holds an additional
350cc of oil, providing a higher measure of insurance when riding long
distances.
