On the outside were Larsen and Faria. If
you're going to get a great start, this is the
time to do it, and that's just what Brant did, as
he cut a perfect gate and was away. Larsen
was right behind him, with Castro and
McConnell close enough to throw a blanket
over. Faria was a casualty of the first lap. He
got out in the dirt in tum one and slid out. His
night was over. Brant opened up a lead that
just couldn't be overcome, and he will wear
the crown as the new Milne Cup Champion.
On back it was Larsen, Castro and McConnell.
David Lynch won the Support main, topping John Stunkard and Jeff Blaydes.
Support B honors went to Jimmy Steet,
more at home on a flat-track bike. He made
the transition well, as he won his first time out
over Eloy Medellin and Michael Novratil.
