There is Husqvarna money to be had, and he was going to get it. Carlson did do better: He won the race this time and went home the points leader. The weather was looking up from the previous weekend, with the sun shining and some warmer tempera· tures. The Premier class started, and everyone saw an almost race· long battle between Carlson and points leader Jesse Janisch in the heat race. The pair battled until the sev.enth lap, when Carlson finally made one of his many pass attempts stick going into turn four. Carlson took the checkered flag, followed by Janisch, Scott Diedrich, Shane Myers and Jeremy DeRuyter. The Premier Supermotard final was almost as exciting· for about half a lap. Janisch grabbed the lead Anymalceol motor~c'e i e'igi"'e lor prizes ancl points. 2002 YZ250F! B Quacls will race! PARTICIPATING DEALERS Alba Yamaha 8&BCycle, Bellflower Yamaha Bert.
