She easily outdistanced her competition in the Women's 105cc-and-Up class and finished a strong second in the 16-24 Youth class. SUNDAY, JUNE 9 525 SAT. & SUN. Duncan took the mota win as well as the overall, ahead of Tennessee's Cody Patterson and Shane "Mudpuddle" Mills. Quarter-liter action was not limited to the C-c1ass ranks, as the combined 125cc A/B races were interesting as well. When the gate dropped in race one, A rider Chad Albritton put his VZF in front and held off a charging Shane Lusk to take the mota win, and he backed up that performance with a similar runaway in mota two. As Albritton was taking care of business in the A class, Alabama's Drew Askew was doing likewise in the B class, taking both mota wins with ease. Lusk finished the day in second in the A class, while VZ mounted Blair Miller took the runner-up spot in the B class. Lusk came back later to take the overall honors in the 25Gcc A class with 1-2 finishes. Albritton settled for second overall in that class. The 85cc classes were also a hotbed of action. Louisiana's Matthew Lemoine and Georgia's Jase Lewis fought hard for top honors in more than one class. Lewis, who appeared to be the fastest man on the day, took the win over Lemoine in the Supermini class via two impressive mota wins. When the pair met in the 8Gcc (12-13) contest, it was Lemoine on top at day's end. Lewis got the holeshot in race one but went down on lap one and handed the lead to Lemoine, who easily took the win. Lewis, meanwhile, passed 18 riders to end up in fourth at the flag. The young Honda rider then proceeded to take the second-mota win in style, leaving him in second overall on the day. In the 8Gee (7 -11) contest, Georgia's Taylor Johnson took top honors after first-mota winner Colten Maynard did not start race two.
