Stroke classes. In moto one of the 250cc Intermediate class, Mark Rausch got the holeshot on his Shep's Yamaha, but he couldn't keep Miles behind him for long. After a short stint of bar-to-bar action, Miles took the lead and never looked back. Andy Hammond put the pressure on Rausch next and eventually wore him down, putting his Yamaha into second. Rausch hung on to third, followed by two more Yamahas, belonging to Cody Elkins and Shawn Stuart. Rausch again got out in front for moto two, but this time the only rider to get by him was Miles. Riding very close to Rausch's back fender were Elkins and Hammond. Kawasaki jockey Andrew Ericksen jumped out in front of the 80cc Beginner class in moto one, with the K&N Yamaha of Duane Cole in tow. Cole was all over Ericksen, getting past him at one point on lap one. Ericksen didn't buckle under the pressure, though, coming back and taking first place as the checkers flew. Cole was a close second, followed by Brandon Bond on a Kawasaki, Brad Wikel on a Yamaha, holeshot in moto one and put up a good fight but succumbed to Seiver early. Kawasaki riders Jesse Braden and David Wood had a good battle going; Wood came out on top, crossing the finish line in third, behind Berry. Coming in fifth, behind Braden, was another "Kawboy," Gage Martin. Moto two was a mirror image of moto one, with Seiver getting the holeshot and Berry taking over the lead. Wood and Martin came in third and fourth, with Tyler Arrendondo rounding out the top five on his KTM. Alexander Nagy took the lead away from Polini pilot A.J. Gerhart in moto one of the 50cc (4-6) class. Gerhart regained the lead when Nagy's Kawasaki went down in the sweeper and bent its bars. With only three laps left, Nagy twisted his throttle wide open and came back to cross the finish line in second when the checkers came out. Tyler Bledsoe rode his Lem to a third-place finish, with Polini rider Tyler Logsdon and KTM rider Andy Gonzales claiming fourth and fifth. In moto two, Nagy was on a mission. Making no mistakes, Nagy led Elk City Cycle Park: Chance Miles left nothing to chance, taking three wins in the three classes he entered in Elk City, Oklahoma. and Matt Harris on a Kawasaki. Bond got the jump off the gate in moto two, but Ericksen moved into the lead by the first turn. Cole had moved into the lead by lap two and was flying around the track, extending his lead even further. Ericksen stayed in second, with Sonny Cox moving his Kawasaki into third, followed by Bond and Harris. The 65cc (9-11) class featured some good racing between KTMmounted Justin Berry and Kawasaki jockey Jamie Seiver. Berry got the YOU EITHER HAVE FITCH OR YOU NEED IT!
