Enterprises Motorsports' fifth annual No Fear
MX Winter Series - sponsored by No Fear MX,
Wiseco, Pro Valve Race Service, OSP, One
Industries, AMP Research Bed Xtender, Haro
Bikes, Acerbis, Smith, Superfeet and Motul was marked by perfect early-spring Southem
California weather, as well as a new and chal-
lenging track layout.
In the always competitive Vet Junior ranks,
David Berger piloted his KTM SX 400 to the
overall class win by virtue of a perfect 1-1
showin9. Berger pulled two holeshots and,
after early battles in both matos, he went on to
win each race going away. Gary Scott showed
the value of consistent riding, as his 4-2 rides
were good for the runner-up position on the
day, while threes were wild for KTM 250 pilot
Tim Harris, whose 3-3 finishes earned him
third place overall. Steve Kwait was fourth
with his 6~4 showing, while helmet painter
extraordinaire Jerry Bemardo filled out the top
five after posting an 8-7 tally on his Vamaha
WR426F.
G(!Iry Gonzales took control of the series
championship points chase in the Over 40
Junior class with another convincing '1-1 out-
Starwest Motocross Park: Kentucky's
Ben Riddle took both holeshots and both
moto wins in the 250cc Pro class in

the nickname "Holeshot King, to was impressive in
the 85cc (0-11) division. Kearney took the firstmoto holeshot, followed closely by Tony Blood

some me<::hanical problems. The battle for third

third. Kearney took the win, followed by Blood
and Paluzzi.
It was no surprise when Kearney nailed the
second-moto holeshot, followed by Blood and
Garrick Noble. Kearney took control of the track,
whjle Blood was waiting for him to make a mistlIke. Garrick was impressive as he continued to
shut down Paluzzj's pass attempts. Making no
mistakes, Kearney took the win, followed by
Blood a:nd Garrick Noble.

Keeping his momentum going after winning
two titles in Texas, Daniel Paluzzi was not backing
down in the 50cc (7-8) division. Daniel took his
