If you are an AHRMA National Motocross Champion, is there a better way to receive your
award than from these guys? AHRMA champ Ron Winglet gets his award during Bike
Week at Daytona from Jim Pomeroy (left) and Brad Lackey (right). Pomeroy was the first
American to win a motocross Grand Prix when he won the Spanish 250cc GP in 1973,
and Lackey was the first American to win a 500cc Motocross World Championship.
Last year, we tested an electric motocross bike for the first time in Cycle News, and now it
appears as though that same power source has made its way to trials as well. This Honda
ETL recently made an appearance at an international trials event in Europe.
