National Arenacross Series Rounds 12-13: Lazy E Arena By KAT SPANN PHOTOS BY CONNIE JOHNSON Hagseth held on to third for a podium finish for the Suzuki/AXO/ RG3/Bill's Pipes team. Oklahoma's Robbie Reynard, fresh off the injured-reserve list, was on hand to contest the 250cc events. Reynard won his heat race over Bradshaw. Reynard, however, has had little time on his bike since recovering from a wrist injury. The main event proved to be a little too hard on Reynard, so he opted to bow out eight laps into the 14-lap event, instead of causing any set-backs. "Robbie rode real good and made a good pass on me in the heat race," Bradshaw said. "Things weren't really clicking for me so I just settled for second in the heat. He was trying to ride hurt and I kind of expected out of him what he did in the main event. I don't think he should have been here. He rode good in the qualifier, but when you're injured like that it's just not any use." Tuf Racing/Team Green/Pro CiruitfThor-backed Darcy Lange pulled a gr shot in the 250cc main, with Reynard a I. dshaw in his wake. Lange stayed close to Bradshaw for almost the entire race until Demuth made his appearance known in lap nine. By the time Demuth caught up to Lange, Bradshaw had established some breathing room from the rest of the pack. Demuth closed in on Lange in the whoops in lap 11 and made the pass stick, but was unable to catch Bradshaw in the remaining three laps to finish second on the podium. "I got a bad start, but I saw 1 was catching everyone so I just went for it," Demuth said. "The 250cc race got off to a good start for me," said Bradshaw. "I got a little pressure in the beginning, but I felt so much more comfortable on the 250. I can ride it and not use near as much effort and still run the pace.' "Josh came on strong," Lange said. "I was happy to finish third, especially since I messed up so bad in the 125cc race and lost some valuable points with my 10th-place finish." SATURDAY
