Hodges won the overall with a 2-2 tally, over Allred (4-1) and Studstill (1-4). Josh Miller led the first 80cc Advanced moto until Larry Partin zapped past and won the moto. Zach Hamilton moved to second, and Miller finished third. In the second moto, Hamilton was on fire, and he pulled away and won. Partin, riding in fourth, passed Miller and Matt Theus for second. WABASH, IN, OCT. 27-28 Duslin Pulley took his R&D Vamaha to Ihe overall wins in the 250cc A and 16-24 class- es, and also took the runner· up slot in the 125cc A class - not a bad payday for his efforts in !he A classes. Keifer Banter took the overall win in the popular 65cc division. It was the largest class of the event. and Banter scored both moto wins. T.J. Beazill, Danny Caudill, Christian Telker and Clayton Knox gave Banler a run for it, but in the end Banter was fastest, card· ing J -1 finishes for !he overall viclory. The Wabash Cannonball Club is one of !he oldest clubs in the nation. The club was into flat track and ITs in ils early heritage, but in the J980s it took on a molocross .flair, and it has become one of Indiana's largest motocross events. On Saturday night, the Cannonball feslivilies included a huge pol of chill for everyone, and then the kids got dressed up for Halloween and had great fun trick·or·treating around the track. While the kids were out and about, the bench·racing was intense inside the clubhouse. The track was in excellent shape, with the natural-terrain uphill/downhill switchbacks being a favorite of the riders. A couple of switchbacks, a tabletop jump and a creek
