SANDERSON CUFFORD, PA, OCT. 21 erry Kaminskie raided two classes at the last race of the season at the Hurricane Hills Sports Center, riding to a perfect 1-1 score not only in the 85cc (12-13) class but also in the extremely competitive Supermini class as well. Jeremy Cook also had a good night, riding to a 2-1 score in the 250cc Open A class and also finishing second overall in the 125cc A class via his consistent 2-2 rides, behind the hard-charging Honda ride of District 34 pilot Ryan Mills. The event's promoter, Hurd Motor Sports, once again provided an excellently prepared racecourse, and, for the second week in a row, Mother Nature kept up her cooperation by providing a great fall day for the last race of the season at Hurricane Hills. Mark Wundrack led the pack out of the first turn in the first 250cc Open A moto. In tow were Cook, Carl Snyder, Mills and David Nyzio. When the pack cleared the rhythm section, the top two remained the same, with Mills moving up to third, dropping Snyder to fourth. Nyzio was still fifth. The top three were really separating themselves from the rest of the pack by lap three. Nyzio passed Snyder to move into fourth, dropping Snyder to fifth. About halfway through lap three, Mills made his move on Cook on the back straight along the tree line. Mills' Honda flat outpowered Cook's Yamaha. Mills relegated Cook to third. Cook came right back in the following turn and got Mills back for second, but Mills wasn't to be denied. He came back on the following infield straight and outpowered Cook's Yamaha again to take second. Cook Dropped to third. Mills then quickly caught and passed Wundrack to take the lead. Wundrack dropped to second. K Cook made the pass on Wundrack to take second with a lap and a half remaining. Wundrack dropped to third. Mills got the first-moto win with an II-second advantage, trailed by Cook, Wundrack, Nyzio and Snyder. Mills and Wundrack were noticeably missing from the second 250cc Open A moto when the class came to the gate. Cook nailed the secondmoto holeshot, with Snyder, Nyzio and Joseph Marshall trailing. Cook quickly put some breathing room between himself and the pack. Nyzio passed Snyder for second on lap two. Snyder dropped to third. The top five quickly spread out and went unchanged all the way to the checkered flag. The moto went in the record books as Cook, Nyzio, Snyder and Marshall. Cook's 2-1 rides were good enough for the overall win. Nyzio took second overall via his 4-2 score, while Snyder rounded out the podium with his 5-3 tally. In the first 85cc (12-13) moto, Kaminskie rounded the first turn ahead of the pack, with Sean Wallace, Dan Zabrowski, Michael Nentwig and Anthony Fontana trailing. By the start of lap two, the top two were unchanged. Fontana passed Zabrowski to move into third, dropping Zabrowski to fourth and Nentwig to fifth. Kaminskie was pulling away and had an eight-second lead after 2 1/2 laps had been completed. By lap three, the top five were Kaminskie, Wallace, Fontana, Zabrowski and Eric Frantz. Kaminskie got the firstmoto win with more than a 20-second advantage. Trailing were Wallace, Fontana, Zabrowski and Frantz. Kaminskie got another great start in the second 85cc (12-13) moto and rounded the first tum in the lead again. In tow were Wallace, Zabrowski, Frantz and Chris Cheney. Kaminskie Hurricane Hills Sports Center: Kerry Kaminskie (23) leads the pack Into the first turn in the first 85cc (12-13) moto, with Sean Wallace (391, behind Kaminskie), Eric Frantz (827), Michael Nentwig (77), Anthony Folk (2) and the rest of the pack in tow, at the District 6 points race in Clifford, Pennsylvania. quickly pulled away and had a 10-second lead by the start of lap three.
