Glover will represent the tire company at all major domestic professional and amateur motocross events, as he oversees the level of service that Dunlop provides to all riders and teams. Glover will also serve as a key media contact. direct other promotional activities and guide the flow of technical and product information, according to Dunlop. This addition to Dunlop's off-road team also allows the company to place an even greater emphasis on off-road tire development. Brian Fleck. manager, off-road technical support, will now focus most of his time and efforts on the off-road tire development program. and this emphasis on technical development will benefit not only racers. but all customers as new racing technology makes its way into exciting new products. Dunlop says. Organizationally, Fleck will report to Glover. Since retiring from the sport. Glover has worked for such companies as No Fear and PJ 1. 8 o o o o o Attack Suzuki's Jason Pridmore underwent surgery recently to repair his broken left collarbone. suffered in a 600cc Supersport qualifying crash at Virginia International Raceway. I just don't understand it [his recent rash of crashesJ. I've turned into a crashfest and I'm so against crashing. I never put a wheel wrong in Colorado and at VIR. My concentration level has never been higher. And I ended up crashing. Honda's press manager for the motorcycle division since 1997, is leaving the company to take a job as executive director of The Pediatric Brain Tumor Foundation of the United States (PBTFUS). TerHorst will join the Foundation's Asheville, North Carolina, staff in December. "We are very excited to have Pete join our team," said Mike Traynor. president of the PBTFUS. "He will significantly expand our capacity to fulfill the long term mission of the organization. finding the cause and cure of pediatric brain tumors." TerHorst will oversee the day-to-day activities of the Foundation and assist founders Mike and Dianne Traynor as they focus on new fund raising initiatives and advocacy for the plight of children afflicted with brain tumors.
