Mahon started things off with the first Schoolboy moto holeshot over Collier, Richard Eubanks and the rest of the field. Collier used an inside pass on Mahon for the lead during the opening lap and proceeded to walk away with the win. Mahon took second, a safe distance ahead of Steven Colson. Anthony Barba· covi, Eubanks, Ricky Parks and Joss Hess had a great moto-Iong battle over fourth place that saw Barbacovi eventually prevail over Hess. Colson led about half a lap of moto two before Collier shot past and once again disappeared for the victory. Mahon slowly reeled in Colson and used a last-lap pass to earn the second·piace trophy. Eubanks held off Barba· covi for fourth at the line, but Barbacovi (4-5) topped Eubanks (8-4) in the final standings. Collier led every lap of the first 125cc Inter· mediate moto aboard his Honda of Houston/Twisted Threads/Troy Lee Designs/ Dunlop·sponsored CR 125. Kurt Caselli out· braked Mahon on lap two for second place. where he stayed until the finish. Third went to Jimmy Eberle, followed by Mahon, Matt Gomez and Justin Eide. Mahon got the lone Suzuki in the field to the first turn first in moto two, but by lap two it was Collier and Caselli arguing over the top spot. Collier went the distance for his fourth mota win on the evening, with Caselli all over his back fender for a close second. Eberle was again third. over Mahon and Eide. The 125cc Pro class was a Chris Tocco benefit. as the N·Style/Smith/Maxxis·backed Yamaha pilot easily won both motos. Jeff Eide went 2-2 for the second-place money. Travis Smith kept Jeff honest throughout both races for a pair of thirds, over Mike Collier. Jeff returned to go wire to wire for the first 250cc Pro moto win aboard his Honda. Ray· mond Smith held off Chris Neitzel at the checkers for second. Jeff's shot at the overall was dashed when he got tangled up with Travis in the second tum of moto two. Neitzel got the start and led every lap to go 3-] for the first·place money, over the 2-2 tally of Raymond Smith. Jeff still managed a sixth· place finish to edge out the 5-3 score of Nick Mairose for third overall. Results P/W YAlfl BEG: l. Michael Aquino (Yam); 2.
