Shockley, bumping his Triumph up to Vintage Five for the second time this season, had won the first time at Roebling Road but had not raced with points leader and current champion Morrow. As expected, the two broke away from the pack and raced closely the entire contest. Morrow seemed to have the advantage on his fast ~Z as he stayed ahead of the Triumph - barely. The two came down the fast downhill into turn 11, and Morrow pulled out his fourth win of the day by about two bike lengths. This is the third time this season that Morrow has won all four of his races. Joyce, again on the Harley, won the only sleeper of the day as he took Vintage Three over his boss, Keith Campbell, and Virginia's Mark Mitchell. The excitement didn't let up on Sunday. In the Vintage Six race, Dale Burroughs, with his eight-race winning streak in jeopardy, jumped the start and was "meatballed" and had to come in for a stop-and-go penalty. Robert Wigdorski took his Sprocket Specialists Suzuki into the lead as Burroughs came in. The Deals Gap Resort-sponsored GSX-R 1 100 rider sat in the hot pit until his class had passed and then set off to do the impossible: get back to the front on this fast track. As Burroughs came charging back, passing several riders per lap, Wigdorski held the point. Burroughs caught and passed second-placed William Mayfield's Baxley Trailer Co. FZR 1000 on the fifth lap on the back stretch. As he crossed the start/finish line for the white-flag lap, he had Wigdorski in his sights, and he passed the surprised rider in turn one. Burroughs held it to the end and kept his winning streak alive with a remarkable run. eN Road Adonia Braselton, Georgia Results: July 11, 2DD1 [Round 1DJ L/W eLse: 1. Zens Zastrow (Hon); 2.
