with Dickson cutting into Cook's lead. Lappers became a factor late in the moto, which allowed Gaylon Dickson to catch and pass Cook for the lead with a lap and a half to go. Then that same lapped traffic became a factor again, but this time in Cook's favor; Cook passed Dickson with half a lap to go, getting the second-moto win and the class overall. Cook's perfect 1-1 rides earned him the 250cc Open A overall, with Dickson (2-2) taking second overall. Nyzio's 5-3 rides were good enough for the final spot on the podium. Dan Paroby led the 125cc Beginner class around the first turn in the first moto, with Reade Schield, George Narcum, Stanley Otto and Zachary Zopp trailing. On the next lap, Narcum passed Paroby for the lead. Paroby found himself relegated to second. Otto was still in third, while Jason Nudelman moved up to fourth and Cory Gager was fifth. On lap four, Narcum crashed while leading on the big infield double but managed to remount in second. Otto inherited the lead and held on for the first-moto win, with Narcum, Michael Swan, Paroby and Nudelman in tow. Paroby again led the pack off the start in mota two, with Narcum, Otto, Schield and Zopp trailing. Narcum quickly passed Paroby for the lead and began to pull away. Paroby dropped to second, while Otto and Schield held their third and fourth positions. Nudelman passed Zopp to take fifth. Narcum was gone by lap three and finished the second mota with a huge 16-second advantage. Rounding out the top five at the checkers were Otto, Swan, Paroby and Jeff Yatsko. Narcum's 2-1 rides earned him the overall win, with Otto getting the runner-up spot via his 1-2 rides. Rounding out the podium was Swan with his consistent 3-3 tally. eN Hurricane Hill.
