After all, there will be loads of road racing going on at the newly named Mazda Raceway at Laguna Seca. Enough racing to make you overdose on speed, so to speak. Highlighting the program of racing Pro Thunder and 250cc Grand Prix. The schedule is jammed and the action will be continuous. One of the beauties of World Superbike racing (and AMA racing) is that spectators are allowed to purchase paddock passes that get you right in on the action. You can see the bikes up close, and you can see the is the World Superbike Championship stars of Superbike racing wandering round. But it doesn't stop with just those two races. There's also a round of the AMA/Chevy Trucks U.S. around the paddock. Superbike Series, and the support the course of the weekend. Flagroom and Paddock Suites were available for those of you who could afford it, with prices starting at $200 and going all the way up to $375. Those options are already sold out. The race is really one of a kind, at least in this country. While the World Superbike competition is the big draw, with the likes of defending World Champion Colin Edwards going up against championship points leader Troy Bayliss, Aprilia's Troy Corser, fan favorite Ben Bostrom, the legendary Pier-Francesco Chili, etc., you also get to see what those across the country pay similar money to see on a regular basis - a round of the AMA/Chevy Trucks U.S. Superbike Series, a top-notch series featuring the likes of defending champion Mat Mladin, Doug Chandler, Aaron Yates, Anthony Gobert, Nicky Hayden, Miguel DuHamel, etc. Put it this way, you won't see this many motorcycle road racing stars at a single racing facility anywhere else in the world.
