Memor ia l Dun e s town Series , the Dunestown Grand Prix. After nearly 30 m inutes of ra c ing, White managed to sl ip past O 'Neal for the sec ond-place trophy . Maeda stuc k with Co le a n d was soon jo ined b y Randy Wilkins , ma king it a thre e- ride r battl e o ver the lead . In 250cc Be g inn e r action , Ke n ny Kopecky held the lead for just over a lap before J eff McClure and Curtis S haw dropped him a cou p le of positions. McClure easily pulled away from Shaw an d the ot hers for a commanding win . Kopecky he ld on to finish third , behind Shaw.
